Jiyoon Kim is a PhD student in Urban Planning and Development at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Originally from South Korea, she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Landscape Architecture and Architecture from Seoul National University. Her research explores the relationship between urban design, the environment, spatial analysis, health, and social interaction. She focuses particularly on how the physical environment, especially green spaces, influences mental health in urban settings.
